About the Professional

I am Rogers Namwiyiri, I hold a master degree in counseling psychology and am now pursuing a PhD in psychology at Makerere University. I have served as a counseling psychologist for now 6 years at C-care International Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, and as a lecturer at Kyambogo University in Kampala. I am passionate about mental health, and I have touched a number of lives through psychotherapy, including those from the United States using tele-counseling. Many have testified to healing and referring other colleagues for support. I have trained in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Perinatal mental health and eye movement demonstration response for trauma patients. I do addiction counseling, HIV counseling, couples therapy, and other major mental health disorders.
