Empowering Futures My Journey from Education to Banking & Career Counselling “I believe that with the right guidance at the right time, every individual can build a fulfilling, high-impact career.” I am a dedicated Career Counsellor on a mission to help students and young professionals navigate their academic and professional paths with clarity and confidence. My counselling philosophy is built upon a unique 39-year professional journey that seamlessly bridges the worlds of higher education and the corporate financial sector. The Foundation: Education & Corporate Insights My career began in the classroom, where I spent 6 years in the education line. Armed with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and an MBA specializing in Finance and Human Resources, I developed a deep understanding of pedagogy, student psychology, and behavioural dynamics. Driven to explore the practical application of business and finance, I transitioned into the corporate world, where I spent the next 33 years as a Banking Professional. This extensive tenure gave me the exact skills required to succeed in high-pressure financial environments. My Approach to Career Counselling Throughout my entire 39-year service, regardless of my official designation, I have always been a mentor at heart. I have guided many students toward academic excellence and mentored young banking professionals through critical career transitions. Today, I combine my HR insights, banking acumen, and educational background to offer a scientific, empathetic, and highly effective counseling process: Discovering Core Potential: Through interactive dialogue and advanced Psychometric Analysis, I help individuals discover their true interests, strengths, and personality traits. Building Unshakeable Confidence: I focus on dispelling the anxiety of decision-making, empowering students to own their academic choices. Strategic Career Mapping: I don't just recommend degrees; I help map out sustainable, long-term professional paths that align with real-world industry demands. Whether you are a high school student trying to choose the right college major, or a young professional looking to make a strategic pivot in the corporate world, I am here to provide the structured guidance and corporate perspective you need to build a strong, successful future.
