I am an experienced educator and career counsellor with a strong background in teaching, student guidance, special educational needs, and university counselling. Over the years, I have worked closely with students from diverse academic, personal, and learning backgrounds, supporting them in understanding their strengths, interests, abilities, and future aspirations. My experience as a teacher, Head of SEND, SENCO, Global Perspectives educator, examination officer, and career counsellor has given me a well-rounded understanding of student development. I recognise that every learner has a unique journey and that career decisions should not be based only on marks, popular choices, or external expectations. My approach is personalised, supportive, and student-centred. I help students explore suitable subject combinations, courses, career pathways, colleges, and universities in India and abroad. I also guide them in understanding emerging career opportunities, admission requirements, application timelines, and the skills required for future success. Through structured conversations, career assessments, research, and practical action planning, I aim to help students make informed and realistic decisions. My counselling style combines empathy, active listening, honest guidance, and careful research. I believe in creating a safe and encouraging environment where students and parents can discuss their concerns openly. My goal is not simply to suggest a career, but to empower each student to develop self-awareness, confidence, and clarity so that they can make independent and meaningful choices about their education and future.
