Asma Ansari

Asma Ansari, Dean of CIE and Placements, Daly College Indore, has an experience of 32 years in the educational field, teaching both national and International (CAIE) curricula. As a school career and guidance counselor, she has placed students in Universities across countries and has visited many countries to see various Universities and Colleges so that she can guide her students better. She looks after Career Guidance in all aspects. She helps in facilitating the transition of students from education in school to university. Offers guidance, support, and resources to help students make informed career decisions, develop essential skills through workshops and masterclasses, and inform the students about internships, webinars, research publications and resume-building activities. Conducts various activities like organizing workshops and Career/ University Fairs on topics such as career planning and university selection. Keeping abreast of industry trends, labour market demands, and emerging careers to provide up-to-date advice to students, she also teaches them how to prepare for college interviews. This includes providing guidance on interview etiquette, common interview questions, and mock interview sessions. Her work not only benefits individual students but also contributes to the reputation and success of the educational institution. She is a Certified Global Career Counselor, with a Green Belt Certificate from UCLA Extension. Has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling from ICS Lucknow, completed IEU Global Academy for Counselors in 2023. Recipient of the "Life Time Achievement Award"2018 for Career Counseling and Guidance, by the Institute of Career Studies. Has been nominated for Counselor of the Year Award by IC3 on three occasions.
